Turning Information into Advantage.
Most organizations already have more information than they use.
The gap isn't access. It's knowing what matters. and having systems disciplined enough to deliver it consistently.
That's not a platform problem. It's an editorial one. It takes judgment, systems that adapt, and someone who stays in it with you.
Jake Perry, Founder - Based in Kingston, NY.
Knowing what matters—and what doesn't—isn't a platform feature. It’s built through years inside complex, high-stakes information environments. The friction of getting it right. The pattern recognition that only comes from focused repetition.
What that builds: editorial judgment. Systems disciplined enough to deliver consistently. And the discipline to make sure it lands with the people who need it.
That discipline doesn't stay in one lane. It applies wherever an organization needs to make better use of what it already knows.
Two20 Resources brings nearly two decades of that work. Inside organizations that couldn't afford to get it wrong.
What We Do
Good intelligence work and good strategy work have something in common: they both end with a story someone can act on. That's what every Two20 engagement is built toward. Not just information. Information made coherent, contextual, and ready to move.
Intelligence & Monitoring
For organizations that need to stay ahead of what's happening in their world.
Most monitoring platforms deliver volume. What they don't deliver is judgment—the ability to separate what's relevant from what's just recent, and to understand why it matters for your specific situation.
We build and manage intelligence programs that do both. That means the right sources, the right filters, and consistent delivery to the people who need it. And in a form they'll actually use.
Strategic Research & Planning
For organizations that need to make better decisions with the information they already have.
Good strategy starts with an honest picture of where you are: your market, your competition, your gaps, and your opportunities. We research, synthesize, and structure that picture into something actionable.
That means market analysis, competitive intelligence, business planning, and BD support, all built around what your organization actually needs to move forward. That includes data analysis—taking raw, unstructured data and turning it into something a client can actually use to make decisions.
This can be internal-facing work. The output is designed to inform decisions, not just describe situations.
Content Strategy & Information Architecture
For organizations growing faster than their communications can keep up.
When an organization scales quickly, its information environment can break down. Content becomes inconsistent, institutional knowledge gets lost, and the people who need information can't find it or trust it.
We build the systems, standards, and structures that fix that—editorial frameworks, content workflows, style guides, and knowledge architecture that scales with the organization rather than against it.
Research, Narrative & Strategic Communication
For organizations that need to communicate complexity to the people outside the room.
Sometimes the deliverable isn't a system or a strategy document. It's a narrative: a pitch, a capability statement, a market story, a BD brief that makes a complex organization immediately legible to the people it needs to reach.
That kind of work requires more than writing ability. It requires research discipline, market understanding, and the judgment to know which parts of a complex story actually matter to the intended audience. We bring all three.
The story is the last step. The work behind it is what makes it land.
Every engagement is scoped to fit. No standard packages. Just a conversation about what you actually need and what will actually work.
The Work
Mayer Brown LLP & the Legal Sector
Nearly two decades managing and scaling a media intelligence program for one of the world's leading AmLaw 10 law firms. Inherited an existing program and pushed it toward greater efficiency, strategic discipline, and measurable impact—managing 150+ automated alerts while personally curating intelligence for 30+ client teams each day. Partners and BD teams got consistent, actionable intelligence they could actually use.
That work extended beyond Mayer Brown. As a contributor to Manzama—the media aggregation platform used by leading law firms—we brought the same intelligence discipline to additional firm clients across the legal sector.
UTM Healthcare - Strategic Business Plan project
A telehealth startup at a critical inflection point needed more than a plan—they needed clarity.
We delivered a comprehensive strategic business plan covering market analysis, competitive positioning, pricing strategy, partnership frameworks, and a phased roadmap for growth.
Etsy - Content Systems & Information Architecture
Joined as one of the company's first content managers dedicated to internal support.
Built Etsy's first content team from scratch, rebuilt the public-facing Help Center, and established the editorial standards and content infrastructure that kept a fast-scaling organization accurate, consistent, and coherent through its most explosive growth years.
Earlier Career - Publishing & Editorial
Before the consulting work, a managing editor role at a major book publishing company. The editorial judgment, narrative instincts, and content discipline that shape every Two20 engagement were first built here.
See What's Possible
Most engagements start the same way—an organization that knows something isn't working but isn't sure what to fix first. If that sounds familiar, we should talk.
